The team have worked really hard over the last couple of years to gain the SALSA accreditation for our brand Kandy Kitchen Creations.
This meant that there were lots of new systems and paperwork for staff to get their heads around whilst still making our products in the same way every time for every recipe.
What this means for you, our customers….
It means that you can feel safe in the knowledge that…
- Our premises are safe, clean (over and above the 5*’s we received from the Environmental Health Dept at RBC) and fit for purpose
- Our staff are well trainee in all aspects of their role and our business.
- We can trace each and every ingredient from supply to product and back again, and test this ensuring our systems are accurate.
- We are “always doing everything we can to prevent the possibility of any cross-contamination of allergens”.
- When we say our products are “gluten free” they actually are – we have them tested by an external lab.
- Our labelling is accurate and includes all the legal information required by law.
- Our products are routinely tested to ensure they are always top quality and taste as good when we make them as they are at the end of their shelf-life.
The external auditor will be back again later this year to ensure we can keep our approval for next year.
